Job Description:
At Regions, the Telecommunications Network Control Analyst directs and resolves network trouble tickets. Additionally, this role answers network operations support calls and trouble tickets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates telecommunication carriers, vendor support, and other Regions support groups to resolve issues and outages on the Regions local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN)
- Analyzes and monitors network performance
- Provides network support and resolves connectivity issues
- Configures hardware and software to optimize network communication
- Sets up LAN and WAN networks, as well as Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) devices
- Manages internet protocol (IP) addresses and resolves conflicts
- Monitors and maintains network servers
- May lead projects or act as resource to associates with less experience
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Associate's degree
- Four (4) years work experience in telecommunications or network troubleshooting
Preferences
- Bachelor's degree
Skills and Competencies
- Background experience and skills in troubleshooting and supporting an enterprise level LAN/WAN environment
- Experience with network monitoring, network analysis, router and switch configuration, LAN and WAN troubleshooting and/or working with carrier services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Skills and experience with routing and switching, network, internet, network monitoring and analysis tools
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Experience with network monitoring, network analysis, router and switch configuration, SDWAN / MPLS
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, PowerBi, API, Python
- Background experience and skills in troubleshooting and supporting an enterprise level WiFi, VOIP , IP Address Management.
- Be part of Network On Call rotation

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
