As a Manager / Associate Principal in the Blue Matter Insights – Analytics Team, you will join a dynamic, collaborative, entrepreneurial team responsible for helping build the Blue Matter business across the globe. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Play a critical role in scaling our technology enabled offerings by building industry leading offerings, ensuring high quality project delivery and the continued success of our insights team. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Innovation: Develop Blue Matter’s capabilities in life sciences technology consulting – including data management, reporting and gen AI applications 

  • Innovation: Lead the integration of technologies like AWS, Azure, and GCP to build best in class proprietary life sciences data warehousing tools ensuring seamless data processing, governance and compliance for life science clients. 

  • Expertise: Direct the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) operations using platforms like Reltio or Informatica MDM, driving accurate data consolidation and harmonization to support advanced analytics and insights within the biotech sector. 

  • Expertise: Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and with clients to architect and deliver a bespoke platform solution, leveraging tools like Tableau, PowerBI or WebDashboards for data visualization and Python for custom analytics, tailored to address the unique needs of biotech clients and enhance their operational efficiency. 

  • Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in technology and thought partnership to clients in establishing credibility and adding value to stakeholders.

  • Delivery: Act as the primary owner of client engagements to ensure deliverable quality, client satisfaction, and project management (scope, revenue, and profitability). Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex analyses into relevant and actionable insights and deliverables for clients. Be hands-on with project planning, data analysis, and presentation building as needed

  • Business Development: Drive business development activities via identifying new clients and working with existing Blue Matter clients by leveraging expertise in technology and analytics with a specific focus on commercial life sciences needs. Independently and in collaboration with Blue Matter Insights, Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and actively participate in capabilities presentations, sales pitches and development of impactful and actionable deliverables for proposals. Ultimately ensure excellence in client satisfaction. 

  • Internal Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop team members for continued growth and success within the organization and opportunities for delegation and assistance in client management

  • Manage Global teams: Ensure effective and efficient collaboration and communication between onshore and offshore team members

  • Coaching and development: Act as a role model to the internal team, and support their growth via coaching, training, and mentorship. Manage a team of 4-5 and eventually a team of 20+.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 

  • Proven track record of success in a consulting or professional services environment, with experience leading complex technology projects from inception to completion. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and building data warehouses and reporting platforms, with a focus on the life science industry. 

  • Demonstrated experience and success in leading and coaching teams for projects of significant size and scope.

  • Proficiency in relevant technical tools and platforms, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, AWS, Azure, etc. 

  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a keen interest in staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry. 

  • Strong analytical and presentations skills to translate complex analysis into strategic insights and recommendations for clients.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Independent and proactive with strong professional maturity to make the right decisions for clients and team members. 

 

​​​Compensation: Base salary range: $190,000 - $260,000 per yearGenerous incentive compensation structure.
