Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Manager to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep architecture-level understanding of database development and a proven track record of running data-driven applications on cloud platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Your key responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of database architectures.
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of data-driven applications on cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
- Lead the development of microservices-based cloud applications.
- Ensure robust DevOps practices are in place and followed.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex technical information in a clear manner.
- Manage IT infrastructure to support application development and deployment.
- Run Agile functions and Scrum processes efficiently.
- Oversee large application development projects from inception to completion.
Your skills and experience
- 15 to 20 years of IT experience, with a focus on database development and cloud applications.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Extensive experience with DevOps engineering and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Science concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and its role in application development.
- Proven experience in running Agile functions and Scrum processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale application development projects.
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking technology.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
