Job Description
We are on the lookout for a talented Technology Audit Associate to join our Technology Internal Audit team covering Cloud audits. This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's governance and operational excellence!
As a Technology Audit Associate covering the Cloud Technology team, you will specialize in providing Cloud audit coverage. You will also be responsible for planning and managing Audits, partnering with auditors in other business areas to test infrastructure risk and control assessments which will give you an opportunity to work with various technologies on Cloud
Job Responsibilities
- Support the subject matter expert Cloud audit capabilities within the department
- Support execution of end-to-end Audits in a risk focused manner and to a high standard in accordance with department and professional standards
- Evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment
- Analyze Risks and proactively identify the root-cause of issues with a view to providing recommendations for improvement where weaknesses are identified
- Finalize Audit findings and communicate with Audit leadership
- Support continuous monitoring for assigned areas including monitoring of key metrics to identify control issues and adverse trends in the control environment and keeping abreast of key initiatives and pertinent industry and regulatory developments
- Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, establishing a culture of engagement while adding value, effective teamwork and innovative thinking
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 2+ years of Technology, Audit, or Risk experience
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field
- Experience working with and auditing cloud technologies (AWS, Google and Azure)
- Experience with Technology Infrastructure Risk and Controls, including administration of Cloud, Network, O/S (Windows or LINUX/UNIX) and Database,
- Knowledge of technology controls, infrastructure technology, technology governance and assessments, various infrastructure tools & platforms
