Work Location:

You must live in one of the following US States to be considered for this position: Colorado, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin.

Who we're looking for...

We are looking for a detail-oriented technical writer to develop and maintain product documentation that supports both external customers and internal stakeholders. This includes product walk-throughs using visuals and videos for non-technical audiences, in addition to technical documentation that details step-by-step instructions on how to set up and use various outside integrations with the BombBomb platform. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, customer support, customer success, and sales to ensure all documentation meets all organizational goals and meets customer needs. 

 

What you will do: 

 

  • Create and maintain end-user documentation, API documentation, integration guides, release notes, FAQs, quick-start guides, knowledge-base articles, and internal team documentation, such as training materials and process workflows.
  • Partner with product management, product marketing, engineering, design, and other internal teams to gather detailed information and ensure the technical accuracy of content.
  • Regularly update documentation as new features and other product changes are released and based on customer feedback regarding ease of consumption. 
  • Create supporting visuals, such as diagrams, screenshots, workflow charts, and videos to enhance understanding,
  • Assist internal teams by developing training and onboarding materials that enable effective team operations and product utilization. 
  • Create Instructional videos and multimedia content.

 

Our ideal candidate will be or have…

  • 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably for a SaaS product that integrates with many other platforms.
  • Experience with Notion and Scribe
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Technical acumen and demonstrated ability to understand and explain software systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles for documentation. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across cross-functional teams. 

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
