Tipico is looking for a Technical Tribe Lead (m/f/x) to join our team. In this role you will provide strategic leadership ensuring an innovative and competitive technical roadmap, developing a collaborative and motivating work culture and nurture high performing teams.

Your playing field

• Through assessment and planning of technical and personnel needs, definition and execution of a continuous developing product and systems roadmap, you will not only be driving the long-term technical direction but also enhancing the tribe’s technical capabilities.
• You are responsible for maintaining a sustainable, scalable, secure, and future-proof technology stack while mitigating technical risks.
• By ensuring that product development and execution aligns with time and scope commitments, you guarantee high-quality product delivery, as well as achieving strategic business and technology goals.  You will be achieving this by aligning closely with the Technology Leadership team, as well as managing an independent operational budget.
• You believe and foster a collaborative, motivational and cross- departmental cooperating work environment, in which high performance is supported and innovation is lived. Through your encouragement new ideas will be developed, the team continues learning and technical and product innovation will evolve.
• You will be supporting your team leads, not only in hiring and growing their teams, but also in managing and coaching their talents and setting goals. Nurturing an environment that supports learning and professional development.

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

• Qualification. You are holding a Masters’ degree in IT or any other related field.
• Experience. You bring several years of relevant experience in a similar role, including a people management function, preferably within the areas of digital companies, online, iGaming, e-commerce or app mobiles.
• People management. Developing a high performing team by fostering collaboration and motivation.
• Innovative. Supporting new ideas, through opening an environment of innovation across all teams.
• Business acumen. Strong understanding of the business, its employees and customers, as well as the drive and can-do attitude to bring the company and the team forward.
• Collaborative. Ensuring a fruitful collaboration with the Technology Leadership team as well as other stakeholders.
• Technical abilities. Strong background in backend and frontend technologies and architecture.
