We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement necessary changes to improve site health and performance.
- Conduct legacy and staging site analysis, capturing high-level insights from recent Botify crawls to establish a baseline.
- Conduct/support SEO QA'ing post ticket release, analyze impact, and crawl/monitor the project’s staging environment for net new issues.
- Build and document detailed SEO requirements for new projects, ensuring SEO best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Support and manage site migrations, ensuring minimal impact on search engine rankings and overall site performance.
- Conduct milestone testing to identify underlying SEO and non-SEO issues, actively participate in the SEO UAT process, and perform ad-hoc indexation testing.
- Optimize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to enhance search engine visibility and user experience.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using industry-standard tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush).
- Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Collaborate with web developers, and other internal teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied.
- Utilize internal and external tools to uncover all SEO issues and provide weekly high-level audit reviews with recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of proven experience in a technical SEO role, for e-commerce, enterprise or multinational sites.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors, with familiarity of working across multiple locales.
- Experience with requirement building and documentation for SEO projects (JIRA & Confluence).
- Expertise and proven track record of managing site migrations and mitigating risks associated with them.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and headless websites and its optimisation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools such as Adobe Analytics, Botify, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Optional requirements:
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms (e.g., CoreMedia) is a plus.
- Understanding of mobile SEO and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of local SEO strategies and best practices.
- Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant SEO certifications.
