Job Title:Technical Sales Manager, F&B SEA

Summary:Drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage sector and provide technical support to key accounts in the SEA region

Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage sector for the SEA region.
  • Develop new business opportunities by working closely with the SEA Commercial Leader and peers in the region.
  • Provide technical support to key accounts by utilizing available lab equipment and cooperating with Application Development Engineers (ADEs).
  • Work with authorized distributors and direct customers for orders, new project development, and competitor intelligence feedback.
  • Determine customer needs and propose suitable products for their applications.
  • Act as an account manager for all customers and distributors in the region.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new products based on market needs.
  • Update customers' demands to meet target delivery lead times.
  • Update opportunities in Salesforce (SFDC) and make call reports.
  • Identify business opportunities and risks for the responsible countries.
  • Deliver target sales, new product introduction (NPI) sales, and profitability.
  • Build relationships with R&D, Marketing, and other relevant functions.
  • Support customers in accordance with globally defined strategies.
     

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Degree in Food Science or Food Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical and commercial sales.
  • Willingness to provide troubleshooting and lab tests to support key accounts.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Strong technical sales skills with high customer orientation.
  • High willingness to explore new things and create new business models.
  • Experience working in multinational companies and collaborating with global teams.
  • Self-confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a global and cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication skills with good presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with common Office applications and experience using SAP.
  • Fluent in Bahasa and English (spoken and written).
  • Additional languages are preferable (JP/CN/KR)
  • Willingness to travel upon request from key accounts.
