The Role:

As a Technical Recruiter in our Austin,TX office, you will be a crucial driver in helping our team grow as we scale the company and mission. You will own full-cycle recruitment and must be confident with owning and being accountable for all stages of the process. You have expert experience diving into  technical roles with the ability to quickly digest them and come up with an effective plan to build sourced pipeline. You do not depend on inbounds to make all of your hires and enjoy the hunt of finding niche, quality technical talent. You enjoy being a hands-on and collaborative business partner. The ability to recruit and engage with top tier technologists and leaders is a must.  Our technology runs on Google Cloud and is configured with Kubernetes, leveraging various services in that environment. Our data storage layer includes BigQuery, BigTable, and Postgres. We code primarily in Kotlin, Python, Java, and JavaScript and make use of many frameworks, including Dataflow, Cloud AI Platform, KubeFlow, Spring, and React.  The ability to recruit and help in the retention of top talent will be critical to our continued success and we roll out and work on exciting bespoke technology. 

You will interact with some of the most skilled technologists on the planet. Our technology runs on Google Cloud and is configured with Kubernetes, leveraging various services in that environment. Our data storage layer includes BigQuery, BigTable, and Postgres. We code primarily in Kotlin, Python, Java, and JavaScript and make use of many frameworks, including Dataflow, Cloud AI Platform, KubeFlow, Spring, and React.

  • Measure the effectiveness of new sourcing campaigns, find, and address pipeline issues, and drive continuous improvement.

You are creative in your sourcing strategies, build wide funnels quickly and have extensive experience crafting high-response, customized outreach to niche technical candidates.

You act like an owner and are independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.

Work experience: 

  • 3+ years of work experience as a full-cycle Technical Recruiter at a high-growth enterprise software, SaaS, or consumer internet business, with start-up experience highly preferred. Understanding of insurance a plus. Hired for positons across multiple functions with varying complexity. 
  • Academics: Undergraduate degree desired.
  • Location: Required to work from the office in Austin,TX 2-3 days a week, or as required for interviews and collaboration with the team.
