Job Description
This role offers a range of $110,000 to $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.
We are seeking a Technical Project Specialist to work with us. This person will report to the Director of Technical Service for performance of assigned functions, and works with Technical Development Specialist, Technical Service Reps, Sales, R&D (ink and printing system hardware), and operations to prioritize and coordinate technical projects. The person in this role will be required to travel domestically up to 50%. As a Tech Project Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating work with multidisciplinary teams (Sales, Product Management, R&D, Operations) to drive and deliver technical projects.
- Working directly with key customers on technical development projects.
- Maintaining project plans to ensure key tasks are identified. Maintaining associated work products including Work Instructions, Flow Charts, Technical Data and other technical documents.
- On-site troubleshooting and customer support.
- Gathering feedback from sales and end users to maximize the value of deliverables.
- Reviewing and mitigating project risks.

Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or equivalent experience in project management and/or technical development.
- Have experience with writing technical documents.
- Be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures.
- Have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Have the ability and willingness to travel.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Effectively communicate with peers and customers.
- Have excellent written and reading comprehension.
- Calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, %, proportions, volume, etc.); apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Previous ink industry experience
- Bi-Lingual Preferred.
