Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing data-led technology projects for automation (AI/ML/NLP/Computer Vision). You will work across data science, engineering, sales teams, and domain experts throughout the lifecycle of projects: from proposal to closure. Your key responsibilities include:• Working with business customers to identify new opportunities with Automation, AI/ML, NLP, Computer Vision, etc. that aligns with department goal• Lead and grow the team on Data scientists and AI engineers. Provide tactical leadership and manage AI/ML teams with diverse talents and responsibilities.• Manages and leads team, communicates goals and objectives, provides iterative feedback and monitors performance of team members.• Contributes to the growth of the organization in acquiring new customers, hiring, training, and mentoring teams for growth and competency development.• Manage the continuous improvement of data science and machine learning led initiatives by following industry best practices and staying up to date with and extending the state-of-the-art in data science research.• Lead teams building new assets and products by supporting the team and assisting to clear QG stages• Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the department and the organization.• Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the department. Identify cross-team dependencies to incorporate them into the program planning process• Developing a budget, operating plan for the program, evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.• Managing schedule, planning, audit, PSR, PQSR, Management review meeting for projects that are being handled• Writing funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.• Ensuring project goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.• Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders• Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle. Anticipating risks and mitigation plans.Requirements:• Prior experience with accessibility solutions and their technical aspects is a plus.• An ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical and product requirements is a must.• You need to have a customer-first mindset to determine what the customer wants, how they want it, and in what capacity.• Prior experience in planning and conducting usability studies among various groups of customers is a preference. Experience in conducting usability studies based on accessibility solutions is a plus.• 10+ years of experience in software development lifecycle• Willingness to keep up to date w.r.t. new AI/ML and other niche technologies.• Research mindset to understand upcoming trends and technologies and challenge the status quo• Proven experience delivering solutions to customers and managing teams.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• A good understanding of business administration and management• Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, SAFe etc.• Domain expertise in mobility, industry 4.0 would be a bonus.
