To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager to join at the crossroads of Engineering and Operations Team in Paris and manage the development of our products. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects that seamlessly integrate hardware and software to deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of project management principles, technical expertise in both domains, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be playing a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of product development projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HD/SF engineering, design, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing to ensure seamless project execution
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with company goals
  • Ensure technical requirements and specifications are clearly defined and met
  • Facilitate technical problem-solving and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan promptly
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize project efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain comprehensive project management/monitoring documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes
  • Ensure all project records are up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members
  • Provide regular project updates and detailed reports to management

PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Engineering. PMP or similar certification is highly desirable
  • 5+ years of project management experience in hardware development, preferably within automotive, aerospace, high-tech, deep tech or biotech companies
  • Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including product design, DfMA, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and assembly
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English is required

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a leading technology company or fast-paced startup environment
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
  • Background in complex systems development
