The Technical Program Manager, RF Systems will focus on tracking schedules, managing documentation, monitoring risk, and reporting progress across various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aerospace industry and the development of electronics products. They will ensure that program objectives are met through meticulous attention to detail in project execution and communication.

 

This position will report to the Director, Technical Program Management in our Saratoga, CA Office. They will work closely with the RF System Architect and Responsible Engineers from our RF electronics and user equipment groups.

What you will do:

  • Maintain and update project schedules to ensure timely execution of key deliverables, tracking milestones and deadlines while providing regular status updates
  • Collaborate with responsible engineers to manage resources and priorities
  • Organize and maintain all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical documents, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Identify potential risks and maintain a risk log, working with project leads to develop mitigation strategies and track the resolution of key delays 
  • Prepare and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any potential delays
  • Facilitate communication across teams and disciplines, ensuring stakeholders are informed
  • Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up on deliverables
  • Ensure external partners, vendors, and internal teams adhere to program schedules and documentation requirements
  • Assist in tracking the budget and expediting the procurement process

What you bring to this role:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in program management within the aerospace industry.
  • You have familiarity with both analog circuit design and digital design development processes and workflows 
  • You have proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • You have hands-on experience with tracking and managing schedules, risk logs, and documentation 
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced startup environment 

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $180,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
