About the role: 

We're seeking a (Senior) Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) who will play a pivotal role in shaping our products' usability, efficiency, and satisfaction for customers. You will be responsible for understanding the needs, pain points, and aspirations of our customers, and translating them into actionable strategies and features that enhance their experience. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and a good understanding of developer workflows and preferences.

  • Customer Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the requirements, preferences, and challenges of customers using our products.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to define and prioritize features and improvements that enhance customer experience. Create and maintain a clear roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Tooling and SDKs: Define requirements and priorities for developer tools, libraries, SDKs, and other resources that streamline the integration and development process. Ensure that these tools are well-documented, easy to use, and compatible with popular development environments and frameworks.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Establish mechanisms for collecting feedback from customers. Use this feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on existing features to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment on customer experience initiatives. Champion the needs of customers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to identity management, and incorporate relevant insights into our product strategy and roadmap. 

 You will be a great match if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven product experience (5+ years) as a Technical Product Manager.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to product management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation and presentations.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Passion for technology and a genuine interest in understanding and advocating for the needs of developers. 

Bonus points if: 

  • You have experience with developer relations, community management, or open-source software projects.
  • You have worked in decentralized/SSI technology or distributed systems.
  • You have worked in the Identity industry.
