Technical Process Manager
Come and solve interesting and complex product delivery problems on our Audit Analytics & Innovation team that is designing and helping build next-generation auditing platforms and tools.
As the delivery lead for Audit's product-builders, you will oversee the execution of complex product projects in Audit, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. Specifically, you will:
- Own and manage our Jira and Confluence environments and reporting
- Oversee and document the product development process, ensuring products are richly and accurately researched and refined by product owners, data scientists, and engineers
- Oversee the change-management lifecycle, ensuring the right owners approve updates to production platforms and that launches and approvals are documented
- Innovate and document code handover processes between development teams
- Innovate and document product release and control processes to ensure good governance
- Apply a quantitative approach to measuring tech work and efficiency in regular reporting to leadership
- Validate that product teams are accurately measuring the difficulty of work through continuous planning reviews
- Ruthlessly prioritize product work by creating and applying quantitative KPIs to potential new features
- Be a collaborative problem solver and implementer as you accelerate the partnership between Product, Tech, and Data Science partners
- Be a critical thinker, ready to apply creative and measurable process solutions to challenging problems
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 Years Process Management experience, or at least 5 years of Product Management experience or a combination
- At least 2+ years experience with Jira or Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or MBA degree
- 7+ years of Process Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 for Manager, Process Management
Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500 for Manager, Process Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
