We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Pre-Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. While pre-sales experience is preferred, we also value candidates from a consulting background who possess strong technical skills and diverse industry experience. You will work closely with 10+ Account Executives (AEs) to develop and deliver compelling solutions for Enterprise sized companies across the AMER region.
In this role, you will lead product demonstrations and oversee the technical components of RFX processes, ensuring all technical aspects are tailored to meet customer requirements. Your ability to translate complex customer needs into effective solutions will be key to driving successful outcomes in the sales cycle.
How you will spend your time:
- Commercial Acumen: Engage confidently with C-suite executives at Enterprise and similarly sized companies across the AMER region. Your ability to articulate the strategic value of SafetyCulture’s products will be instrumental in securing their commitment.
- Collaborative Sales Partnership: Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales process, from initial discovery to closure and renewal. Your deep understanding of customer needs will ensure the proposed solutions not only meet but exceed expectations across the AMER region.
- Innovative Solution Design: Utilize your expertise to craft customized solutions that address complex customer requirements, showcasing the value of SafetyCulture’s offerings. Familiarity with enterprise applications such as MS Office, SAP, Data Warehouses, and Middlewares will be highly regarded.
- Technical Leadership in Demos & RFX: Lead the preparation and delivery of product demonstrations, while managing the technical components of RFX responses. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that these elements are precisely aligned with customer needs, driving both initial sales and long-term renewals.
- Guidance and Impact: Provide in-depth technical guidance and advice throughout the sales process, ensuring that customer feedback is effectively communicated to product and engineering teams. Your insights will directly influence product development, enhancing our offerings to better meet market demands.
- Trusted Advisory Role: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering) and external clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who can be relied upon for strategic guidance.
About you:
- Experience: Proven experience in a technical pre-sales role within the SaaS industry or a strong management consulting or technology integration background with technical expertise across a range of industries and technologies.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of SaaS architectures and API integrations. Familiarity with enterprise applications such as MS Office, SAP, Data Warehouses, and Middlewares will be highly regarded.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Proactive & Strategic Mindset: A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances. Your strategic thinking will be key in aligning solutions with customer needs.
- Collaborative Team Player: A team-oriented attitude, eager to contribute to collective success and share knowledge across the organization.
