Your role
The role as Technical Manager is a new position in our organization and will focus on our technical development internally as externally. The position will lead and develop a technical team. Furthermore, be in control of the strategical technical development with new and existing, investments, projects and product/production processes.

The role is a Leadership group member where the position is expected to be active in the business development of BU Surface Technology. Due to the size of the unit some operational tasks are included in the scope.

  • Be on top of the technology development, internally as well as externally.
  • Planning and carrying out technical activities such as investments, projects, and processes.
  • Support the sales & marketing function in customers interractions.
  • Meeting set KPIs and set actions forward.
  • Being the overall responsible for IT/Digital area for the entire business unit.

The position require travels from time to time.

Your profil

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in technical projects and excellent project management skills. You have previously worked in an international setting and have held leadership roles where you thrived in developing and mentoring your team. Your engineer degree in material and coating technologies, combined with your proficiency in the Office 365 suite, makes you a valuable asset to the organization.

Your interpersonal and communication skills are well developed, and you are fluent in Swedish and English. Additional proficiency in other languages is being a plus. You are known for your ability to inspire and motivate your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

As part of the leadership team, you will focus on your functional role in a business development context. You will assure development of employees to ensure the best possible work conditions and environment.
