We are looking for a Technical Manager, Logistics Execution who will join our Business Application Services team in Marysville, Ohio. This position will be based at The Scotts Company headquarters in Marysville, Ohio. 

The Business Application Services (BAS) department is committed to supporting the company’s current and long term strategies. As part of the BAS organization, the Technical Manager, Logistics Execution will partner with the global Supply Chain community serving their needs in the order fulfillment, distribution, master data and the enhancement and maintenance of S/4 HANA SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP Yard Logistics and SAP BN4L Systems, shipping interfaces, and Procurement processes. 

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Responsibility for the design, implementation and improvement of the S4 Hana SAP TM / YL and EWM systems related to Warehouse and Logistics, for our Scotts business units

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for all logistics applications including but not limited to SAP ECC, SAP EWM, SAP WM, SAP Yard Logistics, and participate in rolling out SAP TM

  • Working with the development team, implement code changes to resolve production issues in a timely fashion

  • Lead or support small to large scale continuous improvement projects in SAP TM and SAP EWM application areas

  • Complete SAP or related system configuration as required to support functional business requirements

  • Write and maintain detailed and effective documentation for SAP and development activities 

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams along with external partners to support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

  • Lead requirements gathering and design sessions with business and IT resources and formalize requirements and gain formal signoff

  • Manage projects and initiatives in adherence to Scotts standard Project Management Office (PMO) methodology including financial management practices

  • Complete unit testing and cross-functional integration testing for SAP development items

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $135,900.00 - $159,900.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
