Technical Innovation Management (TIM) Lead will deliver competitive advantage to the business by providing Technical Leadership (product formulation, packaging, specifications) and leading/supporting technical capability building/knowledge transfer for the manufacturing site (through training, coaching and R&D inputs).
How will you contribute
Working independently, you will lead/support initiatives and opportunities aligned to Business Strategy/Compelling Business Needs (CBN) and implement approved projects based on business objectives and needs (Process Capability, Quality Improvement, Focus Improvement). You will also lead the technical functions (RDQ, Engineering, and Plant) to ensure technical information (Integrated Design brief) has been completed to successfully deliver project scopes. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and leverage TIM peers and RDQ network to share technical solutions and/or Kaizens for common challenges in conjunction to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results.

  • Roll out manufacturing standards process specific to capability building and training for plant colleagues.
  • Prioritizing activity execution link to the Strategic Growth Plans.
  • Provide technical support to the bakery for IL6S phase progression and Focus Improvement-led projects via Core Centric team.
  • Execute/lead Low, Mid and High Alternative Lines Qualifications (ALQ), providing appropriate level of technical support and troubleshooting to execute trials/Commissioning Qualification and Verifications (CQV) objectives and ensure proper documentation of each activity.
  • Actively participate in technical readiness level (TRL/TRAM) reviews and discussions.
  • Understanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support process specifications.
  • Using technical data to influence stakeholders
  • Identifying complex technical or business problems and creating and implementing solutions
  • Understanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support process specifications

  • Coaching and mentoring others in a process community
  • Being a constant champion of consumer complaints reduction strategies.


More about this role

  • Work with Quality Process Manager and Line Leads to define and deliver Bakery related to consumer complaints reduction and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Work with R&D team for knowledge transfer and trials to be conducted.
  • Work closely with IL6S Pillar Leads to ensure alignment and capabilities.
  • Works closely on a cross functional basis with Engineering and Business Development.


Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. (Chemical Engineering or Food Process Engineering preferred)
Job specific requirements:

  • 4 + years of Research & Development (R&D) and Operations Experience.
  • Product/process technology development in Food Industry or successful projects implementation in different factories.
  • Strong technical background (Research & Development, Manufacturing, Packaging)
  • Clearly understands the Commercial Business to be supported.
  • Working knowledge in Innovation Initiative Management and RCA (root cause analysis).
  • Understands IL6S and the key pillars (especially Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Education &Training, Quality Management and Focus Improvement)


The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
