Leidos is seeking a Technical Editor/Reviewer to join the Document Services Team working on the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. SMIT is the Navy’s largest IT services program. Under SMIT, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
Work You'll Do:
- Write, compile, edit, and proof programmatic, deliverable, and proposal documents, workbooks, and presentations using internal approval processes in compliance with customer and business operations schedules.
- Ensure that presentation materials and documents conform to program standards and Data Item Description (DID) requirements and that branding/messaging of documents adheres to program and customer standards.
- Work with program, engineering, operations, and proposal teams to define content and collect status.
- Have responsibility for review and delivery of contractually required, time sensitive, program governance materials.
- Work closely with customer, program, and technical staff, and be responsible for managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Work assigned deliverables within an internal Microsoft SharePoint library.
- Maintain document integrity and version control management for all assigned deliverables.
- Assist in contributing and editing of program style guides.
- Provide or coordinate special documentation services as required, which may include collection, development, editing, and peer review of proposals, training, and other materials, as assigned.
What Does Leidos Need From Me?
- US Citizen and DoD Secret clearance
- Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills, and knowledge of style guides
- A bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or master's with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience is typically required
- Experience formatting and editing program documents, publications, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and proposals, including writing and editing using the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with system engineers, software engineers, and program management to translate technical information into clear, concise documentation to include customer presentations and program materials
- Experience working with SharePoint sites
- Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team, in a fast-moving environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Experience with Navy/DoD programs, NMCI highly desirable

Pay Range:Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
