Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to conduct in-depth research and produce comprehensive documentation related to venues, liquidity providers, customer business requirements, and Fluent's features and capabilities. This role requires the ability to work autonomously, performing research to gather technical information and deliver clear, concise, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Fluent support teams and developers to address technical queries, provide insights, and ensure thorough understanding of the product's technical aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research to identify and analyze technical requirements, trends, and solutions in the financial domain.
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and presentations, with clear diagrams and explanations.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for diverse audiences, including customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and support staff, to ensure technical accuracy and clarity of documentation.
- Support internal and external stakeholders by answering technical questions and providing clear, well-researched responses.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies relevant to the financial sector.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional technical writing skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Strong research skills and ability to independently gather and analyze information.
- Deep understanding of relevant technologies, including networking, messaging protocols, operating systems, and financial protocols (e.g., FIX, SBE).
- Familiarity with software development concepts and tools.
- Ability to create technical diagrams and flowcharts to visually represent complex systems.
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
