Bookminders is seeking a highly motivated Technical Coordinator to work in our dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide critical technical, documentation, and operational support to users, both internal and external, ensuring operational efficiency and data confidentiality across all teams. Excelling both independently and as a collaborative team member, you will take on diverse responsibilities ranging from troubleshooting and data analysis to onboarding and process improvement. The starting salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 annually.
Position Responsibilities:
Technical Support
• Act as the primary liaison between staff, clients, and outsourced IT providers.
• Monitor and respond to all support emails within one hour, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
• Provide basic technical troubleshooting for internal staff and external clients.
• Assist in the setup, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of company computer and printer assets.
• Perform queries and data analysis as requested by management.
• Support onboarding and manage ongoing cybersecurity training campaigns.
• Complete tasks in vendor and proprietary systems to set up or terminate platform users.
Documentation Support
• Verify and maintain records for new clients and access requests, ensuring data integrity. Follow up with staff to resolve outstanding issues.
• Provide feedback to the development team to improve ERP functionality.
• Update Standards & Procedures content.
Operational Support
• Assist staff with file share application troubleshooting and send files, as requested.
• Provide backup administrative support, including general office tasks, as scheduled or on an ad-hoc basis.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with advanced skills preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or other cloud computing platforms is preferred.
• Ability to type 45+ words per minute.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; goal-driven, motivated, and flexible.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding client and employee identification and financial information.
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, capable of:
○ Building strong internal and external relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills.
○ Anticipating and independently solving problems.
○ Working efficiently, meeting deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and reprioritizing as needed.
Educational and Professional Requirements
• Technical or Associate’s Degree.
• Two years of relevant, professional experience is required; four years preferred.
Other Requirements, Working Conditions, and Physical Demands
• The work schedule is flexible, but must be completed according to an elected schedule occurring Monday-Friday within normal business hours (8:00 - 6:00 PM EST).
• Hybrid role requiring approximately 2-3 days in-office per week.
• Overtime may be required seasonally but will be scheduled with as much notice as possible.
• Operate a computer, copier, fax, VoIP telephone, and other office equipment.
• Perform sedentary work that may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to see, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, stooping, reaching, and other similar tasks.
