Job Overview:
The Technical Compliance Engineer – Americas is a pivotal role within the Americas Cybersecurity team. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of compliance programs that align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical compliance, a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in the Americas, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure that Ant International’s products and services meet the highest standards of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compliance Program Leadership: Lead the development and execution of technical compliance programs across the Americas region. Ensure that programs are aligned with global compliance strategies and meet all regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Regulatory Alignment: Oversee the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements into technical processes and systems. Ensure that all products and operations comply with relevant regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, and others pertinent to the financial technology sector.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into all aspects of product development and service delivery.
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.
• Compliance Tools and Automation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of tools and processes that enhance compliance management, making it more efficient and scalable.
• Audit and Assessment Support: Manage the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation and evidence. Support internal and external audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all relevant stakeholders understand and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization’s compliance posture.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical compliance, cybersecurity, or a related area.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to the Americas, particularly in the financial technology sector.
• Proven experience in managing compliance programs and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or equivalent.
• Experience with compliance in a cloud environment, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with fintech regulations and secure payment architectures.
• Experience working in a global or multi-regional organization.
