As a Technical Business Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Banking business for Structure Finance team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Technology, Product leads, and Operations Stakeholder
- Exhibits a keen eye for detail and influences stakeholders to drive consensus.
- Assist in requirements creation, scope definition and priorities.
- Create Epics, stories and keeping the documentation up-to-date
- Drive creation of detailed functional specifications with AS-IS process flows and target state processes.
- Provide functional support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements/functional specs to reviewing SIT and UAT test cases, and supporting all the testing phases.
- Partner with the development teams to facilitate the build effort (e.g. ensuring build teams understanding of the specifications).
- Manage changes to requirements per process
- Develop use cases, and partner with the business to ensure sign-off on all requirements, testing and implementation
- Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demonstrations, and the development of appropriate documentation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience
- Experience obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options & risks
- Ability to write and create detailed business and functional requirements
- Experience creating functional system requirements specifications
- Pro-actively lead/participate in design/solution architecting of target state
- Ability to interface directly with Senior Business Stakeholders and operation users.
- Well versed with MS Excel, Jira, Mind Maps and SQL. Writing requirements in Feature file
- Knowledge of software development life cycle
- Agile experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Should be Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, and a curiosity to ask appropriate questions to fully develop business and functional requirements
- Trade Finance domain Experience is a bonus
- Gherkin language is added advantage
- Understating of programing languages like Java, Python will be added advantage.
