Responsibilities:
- Accounting for reserves with a high level of judgement including but not limited to:
- Allowance for credit losses related to accounts receivable (CECL)
- Credit memo reserve
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries related to various accruals
- Perform monthly analytical reviews of the balance sheet and income statements
- Collaborating with several departments on a regular basis
- Assists the internal and external auditors with interim reviews and year-end audits
- Prepare financial statement disclosures for responsible areas
- Completes special projects assigned, such as technical accounting research and process improvements
- Maintains and keeps current on knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC requirements, and other relevant accounting regulations
- Maintain adherence to internal controls and policies for SOX compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 7-10 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially the CECL standards
- CECL Experience
- CPA preferred
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to handle data intensive files
- Proficient analytical skills
This is a hybrid position, 2 days a week expected in office
