About the job:
We're seeking a seasoned Tech Lead in Switzerland to drive the development of ARTMYN's expanding product portfolio. With our recent expansion into the museum sector, we face exciting new challenges in delivering value to the public, art conservators, experts, and content creators.
The ARTMYN scanner represents state-of-the-art technology for flat art capture, achieving micron-level accuracy at high speed across various light conditions and spectra. Our 5D image technology enables applications ranging from dynamic commentary videos to automated damage detection.
You'll take a central role in designing, developing, and deploying ARTMYN's products, including museum SaaS solutions, a 3D rendering engine for exploring large artwork datasets, and large data pipelines with some datasets exceeding 100s of GB. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in growing our AWS infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on diverse technical challenges.
Our modern stack is built around AWS and infrastructure-as-code principles, enabling us to deliver robust solutions with high reliability and minimal operational overhead.
We offer flexible hybrid work options and have great offices near Leman Lake and EPFL campus. Candidates must be located in the geographical area to be considered.

Requirements

7+ years' experience as full stack web developer working with large codebases

Proficiency in Python and Django

Experience with TypeScript, Vue, React, or similar frameworks

Experience in DevOps and infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform is a plus)

Track record of architecting, building, and maintaining software systems

Experience with offline/embedded components preferred

Experience leading technical teams and managing project lifecycles

Computer graphics knowledge (WebGL, rendering pipeline) is ideal

Experience in startup environment preferred
