Jobbeschreibung:
Through his activities, the holder of the position promotes the further development of the company and makes a significant contribution to ensuring that BW Converting GmbH has up-to-date and effective controlling concepts in terms of conception and application, that the transparency of service and value flows is guaranteed, and that the early recognition of trends as well as the initiation of necessary countermeasures are always ensured; in detail, the following tasks are part of the area of responsibility:
- Leading a team of 3-4 people
- Further development of both internal reporting and cost accounting tools
- Support preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Support budget and monthly forecast activities
- Development of operational KPI’s to support the business
- Identification of potentials for optimizing business processes
- Cooperation with various business partners Perform Ad-hoc Analysis
Professional requirements for the position holder:
- Completion of a degree in business economics with a focus on controlling/accounting
- Leadership experience of advantage 4-5 years of professional experience, preferably in medium-sized manufacturing companies, is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting
- Very good MS Office skills (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of how ERP systems work (preferably SAP / MS Dynamics 365 F&O)
- Knowledge of using BI tools (especially Power BI)
- Knowledge of USGAAP is an advantage
- Good English language skills
Personal requirements for the position holder:
The task requires active cooperation with colleagues at the various hierarchical levels and in the departments. Not least because of this, in addition to specialist knowledge and methodological competence, such important qualities as communication skills (listening, questioning), the ability to judge, persuasiveness, strategic creative ability, the ability to reach consensus and emotional intelligence are also important.
