In the Netherlands, we are located in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Hengelo (head office). Together with an extensive ecosystem of knowledge partners, customers and suppliers, one of the key responsibilities within our Engineering departments is to ensure safety and security through the development of cutting-edge / state-of-the-art products that are utilized globally by navies and ground forces.
About the team
At the moment the team consists of 5-10 engineering professionals. A team typically consists of 20-30 system engineers (and other relevant development roles). Your role will involve managing this team and supporting further growth.
About your future job
We are currently experiencing rapid growth, therefore focusing on and expanding our efforts in Delft. We seek an expert Team Manager with experience in Leading & Scaling High-Performing Teams to support this expansion.
As we focus our efforts in Delft and seek to grow our team, innovative ideas and a willingness to embrace new approaches will be essential in achieving our goals. Your main location is at our Delft office. At the same time, you will have short communication lines with your colleagues at the main office in Hengelo and know how to build a bridge between these locations.
Your expertise and growth mindset will be vital in our mission, contributing to product development and execution. Key systems may include renowned systems such as TACTICOS, our state-of-the-art combat management and advanced radar sensor solutions such as APAR, SMART-L, STIR, MIRADOR, and GM200.
From small platforms to the next generation ballistic missile defense capabilities enabling outer-atmosphere missile tracking. Supporting projects such as F126, Type 31, K130, AWWS and various other potential next-generation system initiatives.

Why you’d be a great fit:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent and are experienced in System Engineering (Requirements Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering and Product engineering is a plus!)
- Proven experience in people management within a highly technical environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by the team.
- Out-of-the-box thinking with a growth mindset to support our rapid expansion and drive our mission forward.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical opportunities for growth in Delft, in consultation with internal stakeholders. You know how to identify opportunities and translate them into concrete proposals.
- Expert in stakeholder management; you will need to act as a liaison between the Mission Systems segment, the Above Water Systems business line, and other internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Being proactive, taking the initiative, manage expectations and being a solid reporter.
