We are currently hiring a Team Lead based in our Courtenay Service Location. You will be at the front line supporting the delivery of BCAA’s membership and insurance daily sales operations. You will be instrumental in coaching and training your team to drive BCAA’s growth strategy and brand awareness.

During a typical day, you will:   

  • Guide and support your team to ensure quality service and professionalism at every customer interaction. 

  • Lead financial growth and productivity goals by actively selling membership, insurance products, maintaining renewals and following up with business leads.  

  • Ensure risk management practices are upheld through ongoing document review, documentation, and coaching.  

  • Maintain working knowledge of all BCAA Membership and insurance manuals from best practices, standards, and policies.  

  • Act as mentor and change champion and coordinate learning needs to improve overall team performance. 

 

What you bring 

  • Completion of Grade 12, along with at least three years of general insurance, sales and service experience and one year of Homeowners Insurance sales 

  • Level 2 Insurance licens 

  • Limited history of errors & omissions and solid understanding of BCAA’s business and systems 

  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)  

  • Bonus qualifications: 

  • Level 3 insurance license 

  • Facilitation and training experience 

 

The salary range for this position is $54,957.00 to $68,696.16and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%
