Job Description

About the Role:


Lead and optimize supply chain planning processes, including S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP), ensuring operational efficiency across the region.

Drive cost-saving initiatives, manage demand forecasting, and ensure inventory balance across plants and distribution centers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer flows, manage capacity, and deliver cost-effective supply chain solutions.


Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the S&OP process, ensuring accurate demand forecasts while aligning supply chain operations with business objectives and customer service targets.
  • Manage Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP), ensuring plant capacities, inventory levels, and customer flows meet demand and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, logistics, and sales teams to evaluate and implement improvements in the supply chain network, focusing on performance optimization.
  • Oversee inventory management across plant locations, balancing stock levels to meet customer demand while optimizing costs and minimizing excess inventory.
  • Develop and implement network optimization strategies using advanced planning tools such as JDA, SAP, and Llamasoft to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct scenario and contingency planning to address demand fluctuations and capacity constraints, ensuring preparedness for short-, medium-, and long-term supply chain challenges.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics, including stock levels, plant capacities, and network optimization, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Support IT system implementation and upgrades related to supply chain planning, ensuring alignment with the overall supply chain and IT strategy.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional supply chain projects, contributing to both regional and global initiatives aimed at improving planning efficiency and achieving financial targets.

Qualifications 

Essential Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent  

Desirable Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Analytics 
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification  
  • SCMA Designation 
  • CSCP Designation 

Experience

  • 3-5 years related experience in supply chain industry 
  • Experience sensing and responding using data in an ambiguous environment 
  • Experience leading without authority, driving operational partners to achieve results 
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive decision making 
  • Experienced in presenting analytical results to cross functional partners 

Skills and Knowledge  

Required:  

  • Detail Oriented – ability to build, maintain, validate, and analyse, large amounts of data 
  • Ability to analyse given parameters and adjust action plan accordingly 
  • Experience and strong understanding of demand forecasting  
  • Advanced expertise MS Suite 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations  
  • Sense of urgency and a strong drive for results and execution 
  • Ability to prioritize and balance large amount of inputs and priorities 

Preferred: 

  • Six Sigma/Lean methodology 
  • Experience with JDA, SAP and Powe BI
