Purpose and Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Reporting & Analytics Team Lead develops, guides and directs the company’s metrics & reporting, and ensures that the company maintains compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines. S/he works with all groups in Loan Servicing & Asset Management to identify process improvements, optimize the use of technology, and promote best practices.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand data needs throughout LSAM to translate business needs to technical specifications.
  • Lead, Design, architect, implement, and support Microsoft Power BI & SSRS solutions and Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to quickly identify potential issues and assist in audit and compliance.
  • Work with the Lender Technology team to assist in testing and act as a liaison within the business unit with respect to testing and prioritization of system enhancements and deficiencies.
  • Serve as the liaison to the rating agencies with respect to statistical reporting and annual reviews.
  • Lead and participate in special projects.
  • Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.
  • Travel Requirements - 5 - 10%
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, Management or Business
  • 3-5 Years of experience
  • 3-5 Years of experience in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Commercial Real Estate
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
  • Demonstrated experience with key performance indicators, quality metrics, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in project management, with an ability to effectively manage multiple competing and disparate projects simultaneously in a quickly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and list other relevant systems or software
  • Management, organizational, and interpersonal abilities; including an ability to lead and manage through influence.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments and to meet critical and established deadlines. Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions. Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of McCracken’s, Strategy Servicing system (or similar large-scale servicing system).
  • SOX & SOC experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients (internal & external), all investors, legal counsel, and others. Must also demonstrate an excellent customer service attitude
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and analytical skills
