About the Role
At LendingClub Bank, we take pride in protecting our members and business from fraudulent activities while maintaining exceptional service. Our Fraud Operations Team is dedicated to detecting, preventing, and mitigating fraud in our lending business. We are seeking a Team Lead who is passionate about fraud prevention, committed to service excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
As a Team Lead in Fraud Operations, you will manage a team of Fraud Prevention Specialists responsible for identifying and investigating potential fraud risks, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. You will oversee both inbound and outbound fraud-related customer interactions, as well as back-end fraud review processes that focus on ensuring risk controls are effectively applied. Your team will play a critical role by proactively identifying fraudulent activity and preventing financial losses.
We are looking for a strategic and analytical leader who can drive team performance, provide hands on coaching, and foster an engaged and proactive fraud prevention culture.
What You'll Do

Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10-15 Fraud Prevention Specialists, ensuring strong execution of fraud detection, investigation and resolution processes.

Drive team performance through established KPIs, coaching and real-time feedback, ensuring metrics align with goals and service excellence standards.

Use data and trend analysis to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

Partner with key stakeholders across Credit, Risk, Compliance and Servicing to resolve escalations and enhance fraud prevention strategies.

Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds performance expectations.
About You

Proven leadership experience in Fraud Operations, Risk Management or Financial Services, with a strong focus on team performance and fraud prevention.

Track record of driving KPIs and service excellence, using fraud trends, performance data and customer feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Exceptional coaching and communication skills, with the ability to develop talent, foster engagement and collaborate across departments.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-risk scenarios requiring quick action and strategic thinking.

BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience, with proficiency in fraud detection tools, Excel and data analysis to enhance fraud prevention strategies.

We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
