Why you should join the Adyen Provisioning Team

This team is located in our Platform Engineering Solution in Amsterdam. The purpose of Platform Engineering is to enable Adyen engineers to autonomously build and support secure, scalable and reliable applications with high speed and quality through a common technology ecosystem.

As the team lead for our Provisioning team in Amsterdam, you will build, mentor, and coach a diverse, talented team at delivering foundational infrastructure services for our core platform.

You are comfortable streamlining the team's engineering operations, refining product requirements together with product and engineers and encouraging effective collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

• Work cross-functionally with product and other infrastructure teams within the Platform Engineering solution in Adyen
• Set clear individual and team goals that align with our strategic engineering ambitions in close collaboration with the product manager
• Take responsibility for the operation and improvement of the provisioning infrastructure at Adyen

Who You Are:

• 8+ years of experience with Linux provisioning
• Proven experience in coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent
• You have the ability to lead technical projects in a fast-paced environment
• You have experience with setting up and maintaining both VM and bare-metal provisioning systems (e.g. Foreman, Ironic, MaaS)
• You are a team player who enjoys working with a global team across different offices, roles, and cultures;
• You have the ability to write and maintain scripts written in Golang or Python
• Knowledge of operating applications in a Kubernetes ecosystem is a plus
