We are looking for a skilled Team Lead to join our engineering team, with a focus on leading frontend development while collaborating closely with backend engineers. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in React, Node.js, and system design, with a proven ability to architect efficient front-end systems and mentor engineers. This role requires a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric products and a commitment to driving operational excellence through collaborative, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, with a primary focus on driving frontend architecture, UI component development with design system, and web application performance optimization
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Writing code for User Interface components
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines
- Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Drive operational excellence in software development through leading and participating in code reviews, quality assurance, and production monitoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience developing web applications; 2+ years of team management experience
- Strong architectural mindset with a focus on system design
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, RESTful APIs, full-stack development
- Proficiency in Ruby is beneficial, with additional value placed on familiarity with Next.js and Nest.js
- Skilled in debugging, optimization, and unit/integration testing
- Experience with Linux, Bash, and Docker
