As a Tax Accountant, you’ll deliver tax accounting services to Sanofi Business Operations.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare Intrastat, EU sales list and VAT returns
• Participate in corporate income tax return preparation
• Manage external relations including tax authorities’ queries or audits
• Contribute to business reviews
• Execute in compliance of processes, transactions and reports with Sanofi accounting policies, internal control guidelines and audit / SOX requirements
• Build, document and transfer A2R Core Model process knowledge relating to tax accounting activities

About you

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
• Hands on expertise in corporate tax accounting and intercompany processes and activities
• Knowledge of GL VAT rules
• Good business acumen
• Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills
• Attentive to customer needs and feedback

Soft and technical skills

• Ability to interact with internal clients in a professional manner
• Self-motivated, well organized, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker, quick learner
• Well-inclined towards change and has the ability to work under pressure
• Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with front line teams with an end-to-end mindset
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Familiarity with IFRS is an advantageous

• Fluent in English
