As a Business Operations & Category Planning Intern, you will support both the Business Operations and Category Planning teams by managing various administrative and analytical tasks. This role will provide you with valuable experience in data management, customer interactions, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic FMCG environment.
You will assist in ensuring smooth operations within business processes, working closely with multiple departments, and supporting data accuracy and reporting efforts. You will also contribute to category planning by assisting in forecasting and data analysis, allowing the team to make strategic decisions based on market and customer insights.
No prior experience is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Operations Tasks (50% of time):• Assist the team with managing product master data sheets by verifying information from various sources and coordinating with different departments.• Share and update product artwork with customers.• Verify the accuracy of team requests by comparing SAP reports with corresponding forms (SOX control).• Perform administrative support tasks such as tracking pricing changes, maintaining data in various trackers, checking certificate availability, and monitoring invoice statuses.
Category Planning Tasks (50% of time):• Support the Category Planning team with standard and ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.• Assist in analyzing and reviewing bottom-up forecasts for specific brands and customers under the supervision of the Senior Category Planning Analyst and the Revenue Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:• Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in data management and reporting.• Ability to multitask effectively, managing priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.• Proactive problem-solver, demonstrating persistence in completing tasks within deadlines.• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support key business operations.• Strong analytical mindset with logical thinking and a quick learning ability.• Awareness of data sensitivity and confidentiality, ensuring proper handling of business information.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Education / Certifications:
- Student or recent graduate (up to 1 year)
