We are an intrinsically motivated team that has a passion for solving problems and empowering each other every day to develop our skills, knowing that there is always room for growth.

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in attracting and selecting top talent to support our company's growth objectives. Your primary focus will be to own the coordination, scheduling, and communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the interview process. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, hiring managers, and HR business partners to understand our talent needs and support the end-to-end recruitment process. • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, feedback, and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and share insights with the team.
  • Leverage recruitment tools and technology to streamline and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Understand, embrace, and contribute to Ursa Major’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This includes our goal of realizing a workforce that is as diverse as the customers we serve. You will champion diversity, equity, and inclusion through every aspect of the hiring journey starting with your sourcing efforts.
  • Growth mindset and an ability to adapt to changing dynamics as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing calendars and coordinating meetings.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ years of technical recruiting work experience.

What We Do

At Ursa Major, we are powering the future of aerospace. We see aerospace advancement as a technological imperative and we’re accelerating the industry as the leading source of world-class propulsion systems.

We meticulously design, craft, and test engines that are optimized to offer high performance, diverse capability, and unwavering reliability.

Why Work With Us

As much as we value talent, we know that it’s meaningless without the drive, humility, and hunger to work on a team. A team shares a common goal and obsesses about achieving it together. This requires leaving egos at the door and committing to do whatever’s required (within reason) to achieve mission success.
