POSITION DETAILS
You can expect your typical day as a Talent Acquisition Specialist to include the following:
- Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations. Foster a positive candidate experience at every stage of the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and professional interactions. Ensure all recruitment practices comply with applicable laws and company policies.
- Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Development: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify qualified candidates. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future talent needs through proactive sourcing and relationship management. Build relationships and expand the professional talent network by attending career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Collaboration and Data-Driven Insights: Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs and define job requirements to attract the best candidates. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for process improvements.

- 3+ years’ experience with full-cycle recruiting required
- Recruiting within the insurance industry highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- Professional HR Certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) preferred
- Full understanding of recruiting best practices and legal aspects
- Understanding of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail
