TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER
The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the talent recruitment strategy and process to support the corporation. Using broad based business experience and through the utilization of contemporary tools, this blended role will be responsible for:
- Supervising the Talent Acquisition team
- Creating talent acquisition strategy using best practices
- Providing Talent Acquisition reports and data analytics to the CHRO
- Overseeing relationships with contracting agencies and sourcing entities
- Interacting with and advising hiring managers on candidate recruitment, engagement, and interviewing
- Overseeing the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program and/or Dept. of Labor compliance program
This is a role where understanding the organization, how it is structured, the logic behind its structure, the flow and linkage of key HR processes, how to work effectively within the organization and drive change initiatives will be essential to the success of the company’s business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER
- Use specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to support the talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop training on recruitment best practices for the HR team, Talent Acquisition team, and hiring managers.
- Function as senior management advisor and consultant for strategic, business change initiatives.
- Directly assist HR Business Partners and select management clients in utilizing HR processes to accomplish their business objectives, identify process shortfalls and improvement needs, and recommend enhancements.
- Provide enterprise-wide data analytics to drive Talent Acquisition results
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the CHRO
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER
- BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent subject matter. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday and Cornerstone experience is beneficial.
- Successful HR leader with approximately 10+ years of total work experience, and 8+ years previous talent acquisition and/or compliance. Responsibilities in other functions are a big plus.
- Working experience with OFCCP compliance including but not limited to Affirmative Action Plans (data collection and analysis & working with a vendor to support the AAP, EEO-1 reporting and data analysis, VET4212 reporting and data analysis and ensure all locations are following the Company’s compliance based recruiting process.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with an HRIS – ATS, preferably Workday.
- Demonstrated experience in independent, self-starter roles.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and establish collaborative partnerships.
- Skilled team leader, relationship builder and influencer.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing and/or engineering-oriented environments and with organizations known for progressive HR practices with a broad range of HR functional skills .
