ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Global Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager for Creative roles will be a subject matter expert for the tms creative business areas. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across all levels, partnering closely with creative business leaders to provide strategic TA guidance, counsel, and execution aligned with broader Talent Acquisition (TA) and People objectives. Roles that you will be recruiting for include Creative Production Artist, Senior Copywriter, Associate Creative Director (Copy & Art), Digital Content Supervisor, Print Specialist, Creative Director, Senior Art Director, Motion Designer, Account Director, Graphic Designer, and Associate Toy Designer.
Beyond creative hiring, the Talent Acquisition Manager will also support hiring across other tms business functions, contributing to the success of the wider TA team. They will serve as a visible and influential presence in the external talent market, proactively building strategic partnerships, expanding networks, and cultivating key connections to enhance tms's employer brand and attract top, diverse talent.
This hybrid role requires onsite attendance two days a week at our Chicago location. It is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for creative roles within the tms business, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Recruit for a diverse range of roles , including Creative Production Artist, Senior Copywriter, Associate Creative Director (Copy & Art), Digital Content Supervisor, Print Specialist, Creative Director, Senior Art Director, Motion Designer, Account Director, Graphic Designer, and Associate Toy Designer.
  • Deliver permanent and some freelance recruitment across account management, project management, creative, brand partnerships, digital experience strategy, sourcing, supply chain and digital/technology departments functions.
  • Drive a data-driven recruitment strategy using key metrics to quantify Talent Acquisition's impact on business performance. Track and analyze pipeline conversion, sourcing success rate, offer acceptance rate (OAR), candidate experience, quality of hire (QoH), diversity hiring metrics, and time to fill/hire (TTF/TTH) to optimize hiring outcomes. Leverage Talent Acquisition dashboards, predictive analytics, and forecasting to minimize reactive hiring, provide insights, and drive proactive workforce planning. Use real-time data to enhance decision-making and align recruitment with business objectives.
  • Co-lead the early-career (Campus) internship hiring program, developing initiatives to attract emerging creative talent.
  • Lead strategic TA projects in partnership with the global Talent Acquisition (TA) team, applying in-depth market knowledge to craft innovative hiring strategies for creative roles.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, designing, and executing recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on best practices in candidate selection, engagement, interviewing, and ensuring diverse and inclusive hiring decisions.
  • Challenge and influence hiring decisions with confidence, leveraging data and market insights to guide business leaders toward informed hiring choices.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by ensuring an inclusive recruitment process, engaging diverse talent pools, and leveraging non-traditional hiring pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Teams to align recruitment efforts with brand and social media strategies, enhancing employer branding.
  • Build and manage external partnerships with recruitment agencies, talent networks, and industry organizations to enhance talent pipelines and ensure timely, high-quality hires.
  • Represent the company at industry events, talent acquisition forums, and DEI-focused initiatives, acting as a brand ambassador and continuously sharing insights to improve hiring practices.
  • Maintainrecruitment trackers, generate reports, and ensure ATS (Applicant Tracking System) accuracy while managing candidate communications and interview coordination.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Proven experience delivering high-volume recruitment solutions, within digital, marketing, or creative industries.
  • 8 years of expertise in Marketing Agency Recruitment, successfully hiring top-tier talent across various creative disciplines.
  • Strong track record in managing end-to-end recruitment processes-from job description creation to offer acceptance-while efficiently handling administrative responsibilities.
  • Effectively leveraged hiring metrics and Talent Acquisition dashboards to drive data-informed decisions, streamline recruitment processes, and enhance overall hiring efficiency.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies to attract top creative talent, including designers, copywriters, and art directors.
  • Significant knowledge and experience applying diversity and inclusion thinking to the recruitment and selection process. Ensuring an engaging and inclusive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Experience in early-career (campus) and internship hiring is a plus.
  • Project management / leadership on project work. Ensuring clear communication such as follow-up post meetings, setting clear and realistic timelines for deliverables, and proactive updates.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, influencing at all levels-including peers, senior leaders, and hiring managers-to drive decisions and change.
  • Strategic mindset with experience developing and evolving talent plans and recruitment strategies.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.


Starting salary: $ 95,000-$110,000
