About the role
Morningstar seeks a passionate and motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our People and Culture (P&C) team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, learn the inner workings of P&C, and contribute to creating an exceptional employee experience. What You'll Do:
As a key player on our P&C team, you'll be involved in a wide variety of tasks, from managing recruitment processes to supporting key HR initiatives. Your contributions will make a real impact on how we attract and retain top talent at Morningstar. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating interviews and distributing assessments for various roles, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Posting job openings across college networks, job boards, and social media platforms to expand our pool of qualified candidates.
  • Partnering with the HR team on exciting projects like recruiting, training, employee communications, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records using cutting-edge HR systems, giving you exposure to enterprise cloud technologies.
  • Administering background checks for new hires and following up with candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Troubleshooting any HR-related issues and assisting managers and leaders in creating a positive, thriving work environment.


Who you are
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to grow.

  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook (Excel lovers, you're welcome!).
  • You are fluent in English (bonus points if you speak 1-2 additional EU languages).
  • You are a self-starter mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • You have a passion for continuous improvement and making meaningful contributions to our team.
  • You have prior experience in recruiting, HR, or customer service is a plus but not required-we're excited to help you learn and grow!
