Leidos is in need of a Systems Integrator and Developer Intern to join our team in the summer of 2025. This unique opportunity will allow you to participate in a program developing custom software applications designed for use by a larger team of engineers, scientist, and technical staff. Selected applicants will find challenging work that grows their careers and opportunities to broaden their skills into software design and programming, as well as integration of new web-based technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Systems Integrator and Developer Intern will work in a small team environment developing and testing a range of custom web-based applications that use docker based services (web engine, database, authentication). Project activities span the entire lifecycle of custom software development from design, launching, production testing, to user support. Selected applicants will apply their system administration and design skills on new applications using latest technology for web front-end solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support design and development of custom written applications software based in Java Script.
Assist with back-end database solutions for the custom applications using Postgres.
Support verification testing, deployment, and user support of custom application software.
Provide/author technical documentation, participate in design, code, and software peer reviews.
Basic Qualifications
Rising senior in the field of Computer Science or Computer Engineering that is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Minimum two years experience programming in C++, Java, or Java Script.
Minimum one years experience in administration of Linux systems.
Minimum one year experience developing in one or more of the following:
• Linux software applications development
• Deployment of docker based services
• Administration of LDAP based authentication services
Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e. Git, GitLab, etc.).
Experience with Postgres roles and table designs.
Able to debug software and troubleshoot software related issues.
Must be US Citizen

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
