We are looking for a Systems Failure Analysis Engineer to triage, investigate, and root-cause system level failures on-robot.
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly respond to on-robot failures by triaging the problem and collecting any necessary information for further investigation
- Drive root-cause analysis of the failure, working across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and technician teams as needed
- Recommend corrective actions to avoid future failures
- Document failure analysis procedures and results
- Assist with improved diagnostics to more rapidly detect failure modes
Requirements:
- Relevant experience troubleshooting mechatronic systems
- Software development experience in C++ and Python
- Depth in one or more of the following areas: electrical, firmware, mechanical, or controls
Bonus Qualifications:
- Prior experience working robotic systems
- Prior experience working with humanoids
- Prior experience performing failure analysis on real products
