BAE is looking for a Lead Java Developer with strong Spring experience.
Details about the job and the environment are below.

• Design and develop complex financial system serving as the Agency's data aggregator of contract/labor costs for system development efforts and accounting processes
• Create and maintain system architectural designs and documentation
• Collaborate with other software developers and/or interface partners to ensure functional requirements are met and established web services provide data services successfully
• Review software developer pull requests (code reviews) and approve/reject as needed
• Kick-off, run and troubleshoot environment code deployments (understanding how to automate code deployments a plus)
• Manage AWS architecture and instances
• Develop and implement system version upgrades and patches
• Write unit test and/or automated test scripts
• Work with stakeholders to define and understand functional requirements

ABC
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• A minimum of eighteen (18) years of relevant experience; sixteen (16) years relevant experience with Bachelor's or Master's degrees
• Possess functional understanding of requirements management platform Jira and Agile framework
• Strong understanding of back-end development including, but not limited to, Java, SQL, MySQL, spring, Spring Security, Spring Data and Spring Web
• Experience with deploying, updating, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure platforms such as EC2, ELB, S3, EBS RDS and KMS
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and principles
• Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• The ideal candidate would also have IT project management experience, and be familiar with Scrum, Lean, Agile and DevOps
• AWS Cloud certification(s)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
