Responsibilities:
- Conduct Heat pump and Air conditioning system development research and testing to support N/A programs
- Develop system function modeling, system testing bench and testing plan to validate system hardware configuration and control logic to meet system performance requirements
- Research system control logic to achieve system performance requirements
- Research new system integration technology, modeling techniques to solve critical simulation problems
- Research new testing methods, equipment, and software to improve test efficiency, quality and repeatability
- Define system bench mechanical and flow requirement
- Manage and coordinate multiple tasks to meet project timeline
- Conduct benchmarking research in electric vehicle thermal system
- Review and analyze test data, provide technical advice to engineering teams
- Work with the China team and support the develop of the next generation products
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge and experience of refrigeration system modeling, including component and system 1D simulation methodology as well as python programming
- Hand-on refrigeration system research and testing experience
- Familiar with NI hardware configuration, LabVIEW programming or python programming
- Strong logical thinking, analytical ability, and modeling skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and creativity skills required
