The Global Cloud Operations team is seeking DevOps Engineer who enjoy solving problems, working with customers, and have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions from different fields, including AWS/Azure infrastructure operations, optimization, and network administration. The Systems Architects will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud architectures.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions to ensure the reliability and scalability of our SaaS services. Additionally, you will work on improving processes, standards, and strategies to enhance our SaaS Support Services.

More specifically, you will:

  • Work in tandem with our Cloud operations team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based and on-prem solutions for our customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Plan and execute migration strategies for SaaS solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
  • Automate deployment processes and ensure efficient resource utilization and continuously improve processes through automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior team members.

Technologies includes.

  • OS concepts / Linux/Windows Systems administration (CentOS, RedHat, Windows Server, etc)
  • Experience in several of the following areas: Storage, Networking, Database management, Cassandra, Kubernetes, Docker, and Change Management.
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures.
  • Azure certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with working on JIRA or equivalent IT Service Management tool

Candidate requirements

We are seeking an accomplished Infrastructure and Operations Engineer with diligent attention to details, a high degree of accountability, and the ability to act as a mentor within the organization. Additionally, will be closely working with the application development teams to troubleshoot and perform deployments.

Moreover, you:

  • 4+ years of experience developing, implementing, and automating cloud solutions on Azure platforms.
  • Proven track record in Cloud administration, customer support and fast-changing environment.
  • Troubleshoot escalated incidents, identify root cause, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevOps practices, tools, and Familiarity with microservices architectures in SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in the context of SaaS environments.
  • A good sense of organization, prioritization, and method in working.
