This position is to provide HUD GAE with enhanced support to address the additional workload required to deliver no-code/low-code development solutions, strengthen the IT governance procedures through the facilitation and management of the Technical Review Sub-Committee (TRC) and the Configuration Change Management Board (CCMB) and provide oversite operational stability and enhanced capabilities to the EDM system.

White Pine Innovations is seeking a Systems Analyst II (EDM) to provide EDM operations and maintenance services for Talend, HDInsight and Structured query language (SQL) database and a variety of different technologies, data integration services and tools the comprise the EDM system. This position is a remote position. This is a full-time employment opportunity, and the candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow change management policy and best practices within the ServiceNow platform to provide transparency to configuration changes.
  • Requirement management, documentation, process modeling, standard operating procedures.
  • Provide analyst support to manage new requirements, assist with managing the process to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) and mitigate cyber security risks.
  • Provide documentation necessary to maintain and operate the EDM system, as well as leveraging JIRA and Confluence to manage necessary enhancements to the system to deliver better performance and resiliency.
  • User Management includes creating users, roles and assigning privileges for project teams. Troubleshoot errors and work with product teams to resolve incidents triaged via the client’s ServiceNow platform.
  • Conduct data resolution discussion meetings to identify data engineering requirements.
  • Perform HATRS Release: Manage the deployment of code, oversee user acceptance testing and production releases.
  • Develop and test reconciliation routines to perform data clean up.
  • Support resolution of data errors, management, and continuity.
  • Develop business process improvements related to data errors, management, and continuity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client. 
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • 5+ years of experience providing support to manage new requirements, assist with managing the process to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO),
  • Experience mitigating cyber security risks.
  • Experienced with EDM system documentation, able to leverage JIRA /Confluence to manage system enhancements.
  • Experience with user management (creating users, roles, assign privileges), troubleshoot errors, develop and test reconciliation routines to perform data clean up.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
