As an IT Systems Administrator within PNC's Linga organization, you will be based in Naples, FL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linga’s IT infrastructure; including Windows servers, Office 365 environment, Active Directory services, LAN/WAN networks, security systems, and desktop support. Specific responsibilities include the following:
-Network Management:
-Overseeing the network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity, security, and performance.
-Troubleshooting network issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
-Microsoft 365 Support:
-Administering Office 365 applications, including email (Exchange Online), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
-User management (e.g., account provisioning, permissions, and access).
-IP Telephony:
-Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IP telephony systems (VoIP).
-Managing call routing, extensions, and integrations with other systems.
-Desktop Support:
-Providing troubleshooting and technical support for Windows and macOS systems.
-Ensuring proper configuration of hardware and software, including application installations.
-Mobile Support:
-Supporting mobile devices (smartphones and tablets), particularly for email, security configurations (e.g., MDM), and app management.
-Ticket Management:
-Using IT service management (ITSM) tools to track and resolve incidents, requests, and changes.
-Prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary to ensure efficient service delivery.
Due to the nature of this position we are seeking the following qualifications:
• Experience in IT systems administration roles, with a focus on Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN networking, security, and desktop support.
• Experience with Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with end-users, team members, and external vendors.
Job Description
- Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's mainframe or mid-frame operating systems.
- Installs, configures, upgrades and maintains workstations and servers. Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating systems hardware and software configuration database/library.
- Installs and upgrades new software systems; reports and recommends resolutions to networking and operating system problems.
- Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.
- Monitors and fine-tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Conducts standard hardware and software audits.
