BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional System Safety Professional for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces' acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities.
Tell me about this job. This System Safety Professional will work with a highly skilled team providing system safety engineering support for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and includes integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Well-versed in Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Hazard Analyses.
• Proactive person with a positive attitude and a "team player" mentality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of project/program management, change management, and performance improvement.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and all required Special Program accesses.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance or higher is preferred but not required.
• Experience with weapon system safety operations.
• Experience in a high-hazard industry environment.
• Experience with the application of regulations and delivering compliance.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
