As our new System Integration Engineering Lead, you will be part of a team that defines, validates, and supports design of hardware and software solutions for enhancing Vacuum products processes in Agilent’s Spectroscopy & Vacuum Division. The division is responsible for the development and manufacturing of Vacuum Products (Turbo Molecular, Ion and Primary pumps as well as related vacuum accessories including a Mass Spectrometer Leak Detector).
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including process owners, quality, R&D and IT, to define and document functional requirements for digital manufacturing solutions
• Work as a part of the Agilent Smart Factory Team to align shopfloor architecture to our enterprise architecture vision and principles.
• Participate proactively in the solution delivery, by developing, coding/writing and maintaining software, with a strong continuous improvement attitude.
• Lead the governance of existing testing software for the future.
• Develop and provide guidance on IT/OT standards, design, new technologies and architecture strategies including processes that are aligned with Agilent's IT and OT framework.
This position is based in our plant in Torino (Leini), where partial remote work would be an option (up to 2 days a week).
Qualifications
We are looking for an highly-skilled individual with the following background:
• University degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, Information Technology or similar
• Significant technical engineering experience in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing or Automation industry, with hands-on design & development of manufacturing systems and/or testing software. Proven track record in leading complex projects involving the design and implementation of manufacturing systems and testing software.
• Proficiency in C# and/or Python, as well as LabVIEW (developing, debugging, and improving/maintaining code)
• Extensive knowledge of electronic systems such as electronic circuits, microcontrollers, embedded systems, and related components.
• Deep knowledge of SQL databases and AWS cloud services is a strong plus
• Full proficiency in both Italian and English.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
